Who We Are
In January of 2016, we had a noble new year resolution to ensure the vulnerable children in our community had access to basic education. We decided to turn our resolution into a school that very month.
At the beginning, the school was entirely a charity but as time went on, we realized that in order to provide the quality education the children in our care deserved, we needed to charge a small school fee. This set us on a path to becoming a government registered school which we achieved in 2017.
From our establishment to date, we have nurtured the children in our school both cognitively and spiritually. With Christianity as our guiding force, were changing lives one child at a time.
OUR MISSION, VISION & VALUES
MISSION
To provide equal access to education and the opportunities that come with it to vulnerable children who would otherwise be marginalized.
VISION
To become a haven for all the vulnerable children in the community by providing basic education in a Christian environment.
VALUES
Prayer, Truthfulness, Servanthood, Diligence.
What We do
EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AT ALL LEVELS
Our curriculum is based on the government recommendations and offers:
- Day Care (children below 3 years of age)
- Foundation Level (Play group. PP1 & PP2)
- Primary Section ( Grade 1 to 6)
- Junior School (Grade 7 -8)
CHILD FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT
We provide a friendly environment where the children are involved in their learning and have a conducive environment to grow .
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
We recognize the importance of non class activities in the holistic development of a child. For this reason , we offer:
- Life skills clubs like Scouting, St. Johns (first aid) and home science
- Creative arts clubs like drama, music and painting
- Sports clubs like swimming, chess and table tennis
OFFERING BOTH THE OUTGOING 8-4-4 SYSTEM AND CBC
We offer both education systems at our school to ensure children of all ages are included.
Core Insight

NURTURING EXCELLENCE : KULEA UBORA
This is the approach we take in the children’s education where we believe each child bears God’s image and is special. As such, our program aims to develop the child cognitively, socially and spiritually .

OUR NUMBERS
In our years of operation, we have been able to grow by:
- Government registered school
- 300 learners
- 28 members of staff
- 3 head teachers since our foundation

VOLUNTEERS AND DONORS
As aforementioned, our school targets predominantly vulnerable children in the community who struggle to pay even our nominal fee which we use to run our day to day activities.
It is our wish to make the school completely free so as to reach every child. We can only achieve this through your kindness. We would love to hear from you in regards to volunteering and donating to our school.
